The Waverley

The Waverley is one of the last sea going paddle steamers.

It visits our coastline in September and provides a unique opportunity to view the Jurassic Coast.

Its predecessor used to visit Lulworth Cove in the late 1800s and unfortunately sank at Dunkirk during the Second Word War.

The facilities on board the modern Waverley are very comfortable and include a bar and restaurant.

Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door

Boat trips run half hourly, weather permitting, from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door and back. They operate from 11 o'clock in the morning to 5 or 6 o'clock in the evening and are available from the start of June to mid-September. For more information telephone 01929 400560.

Lulworth Cove to Weymouth

Brownsea Island
