Gatton House provides 4 star, en-suite, bed and breakfast Accommodation within strolling distance of Lulworth Cove on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset. It was built in 1901, in a quiet and picturesque location, as a holiday home for the barrister and mountaineer Sir Claud Schuster and is ideal for a holiday or weekend break. We have 8 en-suite rooms with prices in the range £38 to £44 per person per night, including breakfast. Pictures of each room and details on how to book, are shown on our Accommodation page.
Our breakfasts are cooked to order and include a traditional English Breakfast with vegetarian options. Off Street parking is provided in our car park, with one parking bay per room. Although we offer most of the services and Facilities expected of a hotel, we do not offer an evening meal. However, you will find a good selection of Cafes and Restaurants in Lulworth Cove, all within easy walking distance of Gatton House. We have a comfortable lounge with a selection of books, maps and tourist information. Alternatively, you can sit outside on the terrace and enjoy the view. We are situated in a quiet location in the centre of West Lulworth with spectacular views of the Village Church, Thatched Cottages and Purbeck Hills.

Walks near Lulworth Cove
Dorset offers many interesting places to visit, ranging from castles to museums, gardens, stately homes and village pubs. If you would like to find out about Lulworth History, you could visit Lulworth Castle and see some Jousting, or marvel at the ruins of Corfe Castle. For something different, you could swan around at Abbotsbury, go ape in Monkey World, or trundle off to see the Tiger Tank at the Bovington Tank Museum.
